Education makes the difference
Led by Prof. Dr. Christoph Kabbasch and PD Dr. David Zopfs, the MTR Workshop on Neurovascular Interventions at University Hospital Cologne was designed to deepen participants’ knowledge and practical skills in angiography. Ahead of the hands-on sessions, the agenda focused on key areas including table preparation, medication, radiation protection, material handling and coding.
The programme combined theoretical input with practical exercises, placing particular emphasis on hands-on training using specialised models. Participants were able to actively practise working with products such as the ACCLINO® flex plus Stent, ACCERO® Stent, DERIVO® Flow-Diverter and Acandis Stroke Systems.
The workshop offered comprehensive insights into the workflows involved in aneurysm and stroke treatment, along with practical tips and tricks for daily clinical practice.
By exploring #Acandis technologies first-hand, participants gained valuable insights to support them in their daily work and contribute to safe, efficient and high-quality patient care.
And the feedback? Overwhelmingly positive.
